10 §

Muuttopäivä

Muuttopäiväksi katsotaan ilmoitettu päivä,

jos ilmoitus on tehty kuukauden kuluessa

muutosta. Jos ilmoitus saapuu tämän jälkeen,

muuttopäiväksi katsotaan ilmoituksen saapu-

mispäivä. Jos maistraatti tekee väestötietojär-

jestelmään merkinnän muutosta muulta kuin

muuttavalta henkilöltä tai hänen perheen-

jäseneltään saamiensa tietojen perusteella,

muuttopäiväksi katsotaan merkinnän tekemi-

sen päivä.

Ein deutsches Einwohnermeldeamt hat mir noch nie per email Auszüge aus dem BGB oder ähnlichem geschickt. Eigentlich ja keine schlechte Idee, dann denken die Leute das ist was furchtbar Wichtiges und es lesen dann auch Leute die wenig sonst mit Gesetzbüchern zu tun haben mal solche Texte. Ich denke zwar, dass dieses finnische Gesetz, das aufgrund von Urlaub, Faulheit und Vergesslichkeit meinerseits Anwendung auf mich findet keinerlei Konsequenzen hat, aber wer weiß, vielleicht ist es irgendwann noch einmal praktisch.

Yesterday the first time since being back in Heidelberg running towards the hills of the Odenwald. On parts of that track I was already running a lot before that year in Finland, that time I lived at the blue spot, now at the green one.

On top of the first hill, the Heiligenberg (already a post here, when I was there by bike, lazy as I am.), a theater build during somewhen in 1934 for propaganda purposes of the nazis. Nowadays it’s sometimes used as a theater, but maybe the biggest event is the first of May when thousands of students walk up the hill, almost 400m of height difference to spend the night there, if they havn’t already been too drunk on the way up. Normally it’s quiet there and only some tourists and some joggers are using the stairs. Next to it there are the ruins of 2 monastries.

From there I ran towards ‘Weißer Stein’, a 548m high ‘mountain’ which is simply the highest point around, even though you cannot look around quite well since there are a lot of trees in your sight. Anyway, highest point …
Then back down about 400m height and 6km distance to Dossenheim, a small village next to Heidelberg. From there back to the dormitory through some fields, after 2.5 hours.

And a picture from the flat’s kitchen. Since we don’t have yet many spices and some other stuff is missing too, the easiest stuff to think about was once again pizza yesterday evening.

muistan juuri uudelleen että en oo vielä kirjoittanut mitään barcelonasta …

Mittlerweile schon eine Woche in Heidelberg. Heute mit dem Fahrrad auf den Heiligenberg, der Berg auf der anderen Seite des Neckars wenn man in der Altstadt ist. Wenn man diese Richtung noch weiter geht kommt man in das Tal wo ich vor Finnland gewohnt habe, deswegen waren an den Hängen von dem Berg/Hügel auch meine normalen Laufstrecken.
Heute da hoch da die Sonne schien (irgendwie habe ich mittlerweile ein anderes Verhältnis zur Sonne *g*) und die Blätter alle bunt werden.

Letztendlich dann auch wieder auf meiner alten Laufstrecke ….

Bei meinen Eltern ist heute gerade ein Brief aus Finnland angekommen. Von der Post, wegen der ‘Umzugsanmeldung’, die ich ca. 2 Monate nach meinem Umzug dann doch mal ausgefüllt habe. Finnische Formulare sind halt sprachbedingt erstmal doch irgendwie angsteinflößender als deutsche. Nunja, aber scheint geklappt zu haben. Nur dass die 18,50€ die die für eine Verlängerung des Nachsendeauftrags haben wollen, da hat’s ne Weile gedauert bis ich verstanden habe, dass das nichts ist was ich bezahlen muss, sondern das nur ein Angebot ist.
Aber interessantes Finnisch, so insgesamt. Nicht dass ich das in Echtzeit irgendwie verstehen könnte, aber so in geschriebener Form geht’s halt doch.

Kuvat ovat tieltäni kauppaan. Voisin myös mennä kaupungin läpi sinne, mutta sää oli vielä ihan kiva, siksi menin toisella tiellä. Matka oli pitempi, mutta kivampi Ja nähdin pellolla haikaroita!
Uusi lukuvuosi alkoi maanantaina. On outua, koska en tunne monta opiskelijoita enää, okei, vielä pari, mutta esimerkiksi viime perjantaina oli ensi kutsut uudille opiskelijoillekin, ja tavallisesti olin tunnut opiskelijoita jotka järjestivät sen. Tietysti tavasin myös pari opiskelijaa jotka palaavat juuri myös Heidelbergiin jostain ulkomailta. Ensi viikolla mulla on ensi koe, ‘athmospheric spectroscopy’, näyttää mielenkiintoiselta.

So, mittlerweile in Heidelberg. Bin Freitag morgen kurz nach Mitternacht in Preetz losgefahren und war dann gegen sieben in Heidelberg am Wohnheim. War noch dunkel, und zusätzlich war es neblig, man fühlte sich also schon fast wie zuhause.

Die Fahrt war recht angenehm. In den Kasseler Bergen  gab’s viele Elefantenrennen, sowas gibt’s in Finnland wegen fehlender Berge/Hügel zusammen mit zweispurigen Straßen vermutlich garnicht in der Form: An einigen Steigungen, die die LKW teilweise nur mit 40km/h hochfahren kommen andere LKW auf die Idee diese überholen zu müssen, wobei sie vielleicht 2km/h schneller fahren und entsprechend lange zum Ãœberholen brauchen.

Heidelberg am Freitag war wie gesagt recht neblig, aber Samstag, Sonntag und auch der heutige Tag waren sehr sonnig und warm. Komischerweise waren am Samstag außer mir sehr wenig (keine?) Leute im TShirt unterwegs, alle in dicken Jacken. Dass der Sommer in Deutschland dieses Jahr irgendwie suboptimal war glaube ich mittlerweile nicht mehr. Wer bei >20°C draußen mit einer Jacke rumläuft hat irgendwie andere Probleme.

We arrived after having been 3 days in Coimbra at the Lisboa train station (26.08.07) which was build for the Expo 1998. We already saw pictures of that train station while looking thru some architecture book in Porto – and later on I also found another building of the same architect in Barcelona.

The Youth hostel we stayed at was quite cheap and not so far away from the train station, almost within that Expo area. To the riverside it was only a few minutes to walk. The apartment houses which were build near to the shore there somehow reminded me of the houses being built in Arabianranta, only that those where slightly higher and the streets looked ‘normal’, not like in Arabia where you have strange LED illumination at some corners …

All of us had some interesting but exhausting weeks before, so sometimes we must have all looked quite tired.

On the Expo area was a shopping mall next to the train station, similar to that one in Coimbra, at least roughly, also providing the possibility to sit outside and eat something.
Since Portugal is becoming the new presidency of the council of the European Union there were a lot of flags and maybe some building looking additionally secured.

The next days we walked around the old town of Lisboa. Rita showed us a lot of different places and we had sometimes a hard time keeping up with her. She wasn’t as most of us already visiting other towns before, so maybe some of us where already a bit fed up and sometimes not too keen on deciding whether to go into some church or not when just having seen that there is a church. But problems were somehow solved fast.

From this elevator from one town of the old city to another one could take a look at the city center. In the end we havn’t had the time to visit the hill and the castle on the other side, but from here the town map of the inner old town looked a bit more normal. When I first looked at it, it was somehow strange, all those little streets there, very close to each other, parallel and perpendicular in the middle and then just more or less chaotic towards the hills.

Traditional little cakes from Lisboa …. already in Coimbra Rita showed them to us, saying that we shouldn’t buy them there but in Lisboa, since they are by far better there. We went to a café south of the old city where they almost only sold those and everybody had first to wait in a line before getting a table. Even though the place was quite big with a lot of different rooms.

Nice sidewalks everywhere, also in Coimbra and sometimes in Porto. As long as there is no water or even ice on them they are quite nice

As Gernot said, this looks like a fake. But it’s not.

Before we left back towards Porto and then Girona/Barcelona, we met one evening a friend of Rita with her boyfriend and went to a nice indian restaurant. The food was nice, even the ‘medium spicy’ version was really not that spicy. After that we went to some little bars in the old town, quite interesting athmosphere, everybody outside on the street, drinking beer and talking. But the number of times we were offered different sorts of drugs was also amazing, the weirdest thing related to this we saw was a man hitting a hydrant with some metal stick to draw attention to himself, so that people go there and buy something. Really weird.

Back in Porto we met Marianne again who kindly drove us back to the airport, but before that we went to eat some nice toast with bacon, cheese and fries. And Beer. When I saw the receipt, I told everybody what to pay, assuming that ’3x beer 3€’ means that one beer costs 3€, which would’ve been quite ok price for Finland. Of course it was 1€/beer …

From Porto Andreu, Jasmin, Gernot and I flew back to Girona. Gernot and Jasmin had to wait there for their connecting flights until the morning, Andreu and I went back by bus to Barcelona.

Die Blätter sind zwar größtenteils noch an den Bäumen, aber es wird langsam Herbst, auch wenn’s von oben im Großen und Ganzen noch trocken ist.

Die Bilder sind gestern ‘morgen’ auf meiner kurzen Standardlaufrunde entstanden. Nächste Woche dann wohl Umzug nach Heidelberg.

In der Gallerie gibts den letzten Finnlandbilderordner aus dem August.

Habe angefange jetzt hier auch Kategorien für deutsch, finnisch und englisch systematisch einzuführen. Dummerweise weiß ich noch nicht wie man die Kategorien verknüpfen kann, sonst könnte man einfach nach deutschen und englischen artikeln suchen und würde nicht mehr von finnischen Texten samt Rechtschreibfehlern belästigt werden
