The RV Meteor left port on 29th of November and was back in the harbour of Lima on 27th of December. Thus, we effectively skipped christmas time and even though there were plans, no “Weihnachtsmarktparty” in the cooling room did finally happen. Due to a lack of spices for Glühwein
On Christmas eve the almost full moon nevertheless allowed for a nice combination of LED and moonlight, during a foggy (as usual) night:
On Cape VErde, I made the standard picture again from the top of the water tank of the house I was living in (on a day with fabulous viewing conditions, sometimes St. Antao cannot be seen due to dust)
and this time I finally managed to go from Sao Vicente to Santo Antao for almost two days. At least some kind of weekend, during this short but interesting campaign.
